Borders is a recurated selection from the 8th Bamako Encounters African Photographic Biennale and boasts an illuminating and extensive range of work by artists from different parts of the African continent. A relatively small inclusion of South African artists is a welcome shift in perspective on artistic centres in Africa. Particularly worth seeing are two works from Moroccan artist Majida Khattari's Parisian Women and Veiled/Unveiled series and a video triptych by Egyptian artist Rana el Nemir.
