'Pedestrian Paintings'
Andries Gouws at KZNSAAndries Gouws’s travelling exhibition 'Pedestrian Paintings' combines the interiors and still-lifes known from Gouws’s previous shows in a series of paintings he has been working on since 2006. The show examines feet as an emblem of the larger psyche - where the battering and scarring of an individual's feet becomes representative of the abuses of daily life.
