Kirstenbosch Botanical Art Biennale

Various Artists at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens Visitors Centre

The 'Kirstenbosch Botanical Art Biennale' is a much loved show that opens at the beginning of spring at the Kirstenbosoch Botanical Gardens. The 2010 exhibition supported by Old Mutual will focus on rare, endangered and narrow endemic species indigenous to southern Africa. The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) intends to highlight and stimulate interest about the plight of these plants to the public through botanical art.
