Alternative Kidz

Unknown Artist at Market Photo Workshop

‘Alternative Kidz’ is a solo exhibition by young photographer Musa Nxumalo, currently completing his studies at the Market Photo Workshop.

This body of work documents the black ‘alternative' scene. So doing, Nxumalo wishes to re-present and reposition South African youth culture.

Nxumalo was the 2008 recipient ofthe Edward Ruiz Mentorship.
