'Michaelis Graduate Exhibition'

The Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town, hosts its annual graduation student exhibition featuring final year work by students completing their
Bachelor and Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art Degrees. The annual exhibition
has become a highly anticipated event on the Cape Town arts calendar. This year
promises not to disappoint, with a diverse and innovative selection of painting,
sculpture, new media, print and photographic works from the country’s premier art
school.

The opening takes place on Wednesday 7 December at 18:00. A lavish catalogue will be available to accompany the work, most of which will be for sale, and refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 16:00.

Various Artists at Michaelis Galleries

This exhibition, the second edition of 'reGeneration', is an overview of work by young photographers from thirty countries across the globe.

Its showing at the Michaelis Galleries follows its successful exhibition in ten different cities across North America, Europe and Asia; once again the turns the spotlight is turned on up-and-coming talent.

Curated Nathalie Herschdorfer and William Ewing from the Musée de l’Élysée, Lausanne.
