Malagasy artist Joël Andrianomearisoa's first solo exhibition in South Africa, 'A Perfect Kind of Love', is a meditation on material and sensuality, and the concept of perfection in the context of love. Andrianomearisoa asks if there can be a space for 'a darker love', one which transgresses the ideals of goodness, heroism and purity that underscore commonsensical notions of love.
