'New Documentary Forms'

Guy Tillim at Tate Modern

A selection from Guy Tillim's series Congo Democratic is included in Tate Modern's Level 5: 'New Documentary Forms'. The series documents the 2006 elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo, capturing a complex period of social and political change. The five rooms of the exhibition explore the ways in which five contemporary artists have used the camera to explore, extend and question the power of photography as a documentary medium.
