by Darcey Steinke
This is Darcey Steinke's first web project. She has written two novels "Up Through the Water and Jesus Saves", and the second, "Suicide Blond". She has edited a collection of essays entitled "Joyful Noise, The New Testament Revisited" and writes regularly for Spin Magazine in New York.
This project is quite interactive as it tells a hauntingly strange love story. Surrounding and behind text are soft monotone images that definitely give off a mysterious feeling. One can either skip segments or patiently read through. Each letter in the word "blindspot" indicates a separate segment of the story.
