James Webb wins prestigious Japanese residency
James Webb has been awarded a residency at the prestigious Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) in Kitakyushu, Japan. The seven-month residency also involves a research programme with visiting international lecturers and culminates in a solo exhibition in Japan.
Some of the previous research fellows include Olafur Eliasson, Liam Gillick, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Richard James (Aphex Twin) and Masami Akita (Merzbow). The CCA was founded by Nobuo Nakamura and Akiko Miyake.
