Destination Art: BBC focus on Cape Town art world

Part of a series on 10 cities around the world considered important for the vibrancy of their art, Destination Art: Cape Town will be shown on BBC World TV in July.

The programme focuses on galleries and artists in the city: sculptor Willie Bester talks about his junkyard trawls and sound artist James Webb takes the viewers on a tour of the city. Unless these have ended on the cutting room floor, there will also be interviews with SANG curator Emma Bedford and ArtThrob editor Sue Wiliamson.

GMT transmission times are:

2.30 pm, Saturday, July 22
9.30 pm, Saturday, July 22
