New curator for the KZNSA
Curator Nathi Gumede has resigned from the KZNSA to pursue new undertakings which we will hear about later. He started at the gallery as Assistant Curator to Storm Janse van Rensburg and then stepped into the Curator's shoes when van Rensburg moved to Cape Town. Gumede built a solid reputation during his time at the KZNSA both as curator and artist, and we look forward to hearing more about him in the future.
The newly appointed curator is Brenton Maart who commences in July. Maart is well known to most of us and will be leaving Johannesburg where he is currently based. Next month's issue of ArtThrob will feature a profile on him.
