'The Road Less Travelled
Di van Wyk at artSPACE durban
In this exhibition, Van Wyk wants to link together the landscape of the human journey and the passage through the physical landscape. She juxtaposes the two types of odysseys by depicting humans in their environments and the quiet landscapes they encounter.

'All Shades of Brown'
Sandira Reddy
The title of the exhibition describes the skin colour element that comes across in all the disciplines that Sandira Reddy works in: Graphic Design, Photography and Fine Art. The show will feature pieces from each area illustrating all the facets that make up the artist – the fine artist and designer.
This is the first time she will be exhibiting in her hometown of Durban and her aim is to show how her South African background (both political and physical) has influenced her work. It will also showcase how her Indian heritage and migration to England has also affected the art she produces, particularly relevant this year as South Africa celebrates the 150th anniversary of the arrival of Indian migrants, Reddy’s ancestors four generations ago.

'A Time to Love'
Sibusiso Duma
'A Time to Love' is an exhibition about observations on the landscape, witchcraft, and life in the township. The works deal with the notion of 'black people in South Africa'. Born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, in 1978, Sibusiso Duma is primarily a self-taught artist whose talent was later fostered by the late Trevor Makhoba.
Hovering between reality and fantasy, Duma's paintings are repositories of life experiences and childhood memories. He has presented numerous exhibitions with his former teacher and pupils at the African Art Centre (Durban, South Africa) and two solo shows throughout his young career.
Sibusiso Duma was one of the 10 Finalists for the prestigious ABSA L'Atelier Art Award 2010.
