AFP have reported that today the South African artist Steven Cohen was found guilty of sexual exhibitionism by a Paris court.  Cohen, who last year was arrested during a performance in Paris near the Eiffel Tower in which he tied a rooster to his penis, has been fined €1 000.

According to the AFP Cohen stated after the verdict was handed down: "I think the victim is art'. He went on to express further dissatisfaction with the French justice system saying: 'I'm frustrated because it's almost like being found guilty but not being punished. It's like saying "we are right but we are not going to do anything to you", which for me is a double injustice.'

Cohen had repeatedly claimed that the performance had, "nothing to do with sexuality".
