	Back from the BIG Torino, the second Turin biennale of young art, Stephen Hobbs, who presented the Trinity Session's Safe Food website there, reports that the event was a great success with some 5 000 visitors attending the opening. Don't miss your opportunity to take part in the Safe Food project by attending a car boot sale at Joubert Park on Sunday April 28 or placing a bid for a mystery box on Artthrob's Project page. Proceeds go to a homeless shelter and the costs of hosting visual arts workshops with homeless and/or rehabilitated communities. The Exchange page this month presents a range of important opportunities for artists, including the Commonwealth Arts and Crafts Award and a competition for major artworks at the new Cape Town Convention Centre. Artists have until May 10 to register for the latter.
