Wits University Showcases Collaborative Projects by 2006's Design Master's Students
On October 26, Wits held a one-night-only exhibition of interactive installations showcasing the collaborative projects by the interactive Design Master's students of 2006. The show featured installations that resulted from a variety of collaborations. This included Interactivity inside a virtual environment a work by Bruce Sherwell and Rigel Andreoli working in collaboration with André Venter. This project explores the capabilities of an open-course 3D application (Blender) to create an interactive 3D model of an informal settlement environment where one can control a character and interact with other characters and objects in that context.
The show was held at the Wits Gallery, at University Corner on the Wits campus.
