Critical Voices writing workshop postponed
The Critical Voices writing and editing workshop, held as part of the KZNSA Gallery's Young Artists Project, which was to be held in November has been postponed due to the lack of entries received.
The workshop, which is to be facilitated by editor of Art South Africa, Sean O'Toole, aims to systematically and professionally empower new voices with the skills for analytical and critical reflection on contemporary art, through writing.
Interested individuals are invited to send an example of their writing (of at least 500 words) as well as a brief CV, to reach the KZNSA no later than January 20, 2006. Participants should possess an undergraduate qualification, with a major in visual arts, journalism or general arts degree and need to have a proven interest in contemporary visual practice.
The course dates are Friday February 2 and Saturday 3; Friday February 9 and Saturday 10; Friday February 16 and Saturday 17; Friday February 23 and Saturday 24. The workshop is free of charge to participants.
