Art Bank Jo'burg official launch and exhibition at the Johannesburg Art Gallery
Art Bank Jo'burg, the initiative by the Jo'burg City Council that we reported on earlier this year, will be officially launched on Sunday October 8 at the Johannesburg Art Gallery. Under the directorship of Antoinette Murdoch, recently appointed CEO, the Art Bank Jo'burg has already amassed an initial collection, which includes works by emerging and established South African contemporary artists. Works from this collection will be shown to coincide with the launch. The event kicks off at 6pm.
