Bruno Tremblay speaks at Wits
As part of the DIVA series of artist's talks, WITS School of Arts presented Canadian-born Basel-based artist Bruno Tremblay on September 14. Tremblay, whose talk was entitled 'Clubbing No. 1', spoke about how his work was focused on interrogating the production of different networks of significance. Tremblay, who is in SA as part of a residency sponsored by Pro Helvetia, IAAB (International Exchange and Studio programme Basel) and the Joubert Park Project, has also produced an exhibition with fellow Swiss artist Philipp Gasser (also part of the residency), entitled 'Improvising on Truth'.
