Pelmama Art Collection works donated to Oliewenhuis Art Museum
Important artworks from the Pelmama Pernament Art Collection, in which prominent South African artists of the 60s, 70s and 80s are represented in considerable depth (there are more than 120 works by Norman Catherine, for example), has been donated to the Oliewenhuis Art Museum. An exhibition of the donated work, entitled 'Part of the Pelmama Permanent Art Collection', opens at 7 p.m.on Monday, July 9. Vusi Ndima, Chief Director, Heritage, National Department of Arts and Culture is the guest speaker.
